Accountability & Transparency

Where your support goes, what it buys, and what we have delivered so far.

Every dollar donated to Christy's Champs is a direct blow against domestic violence. Here is how your generosity is actively rebuilding lives.

What Your Support Buys

Every gift maps to something a Survivor can hold.

$25

A gas card. Getting to work, to court, to a lawyer, to a child's school.

$250

A Start Over Bin. Pots, pans, dishes, sheets, towels, soap. What turns an empty apartment into somewhere to live.

$400

A laptop. Applying for jobs, filing paperwork, staying connected to the people who help.

Fiduciary Governance & Cost Policy

Christy's Champs, Inc. is an IRS-recognized 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization (EIN: 81-5430205) based in Huntersville, North Carolina, and registered for charitable solicitation across Florida, North Carolina, and West Virginia.

Our Stated Cost Policy: In accordance with forward-looking operational planning, approximately 80% of every dollar received (80 cents) goes directly into survivor relief programs—including emergency gas transportation cards, transitional shelter stays, and rapid rehousing start-over packages—with 20% allocated to essential administrative governance, financial accounting, and regulatory compliance.

Disbursement Controls: Aid distributions are verified directly against partner shelter referrals and survivor caseworkers to ensure zero commercial profit-sharing and zero conflict of interest. Our Form 990 filings are publicly available through the IRS and ProPublica's Nonprofit Explorer, linked in the footer of every page, and we publish our ledger records at the conclusion of each fiscal accounting cycle.

80% Direct Aid Policy

Stated organizational cost policy allocating approximately 80% of contributions to programmatic survivor relief and emergency aid.
